Our Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Triumph and Yamaha models are in designated classes (Standard, Comfort, Sport, Sport-tour, Top and Super) and determined by engine displacement (500 - 700cc, 701 - 900cc and over 900cc).

Bosenberg confirms motorcycles by make and model. Making a reservation 4 - 5 months in advance isn't too early to insure you have a particular model for the time frame you want.

Model information

Models are current 2008 season and renewed every year. Similar models will be offered for the year 2009 season when the manufacturer model line is known.
Berlin, Germany offers BMW.
Frankfurt/Main, Germany offers BMW, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Triumph and Yamaha.
Munich, Germany offers BMW and Honda.
Milan, Italy offers BMW and Ducati.
Bern, Switzerland offers Aprilia, BMW, Ducati and Honda.
Zurich, Switzerland offers BMW, KTM, Triumph and Yamaha.

motorcycle rentals in the Alps

Allocation of motorcycles and special model wishes are made according to the order of rental applications with deposits received by Bosenberg. Please list alternate model choices on your rental application. There are a limited number of motorcycles for each model and class. Make and model is confirmed on your rental reservation invoice.
Rentals are available from April through October. In Italy only, also from March through November. Rental center opening hours are: Monday - Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Sundays and holiday dates are always closed. In Switzerland only, Mondays are closed.
The holiday date closures for 2008: March 21 and 24; May 1, 12 and 22; August 1 (Switzerland) and 15 (Italy and Switzerland), October 3 (Germany) and November 1 (Italy).
Rentals must be picked-up and returned during the rental center's normal opening hours. Special delivery and one-way rentals are not possible.

BMW models are equipped with hard side-cases (and the new expandable sport side-cases). Honda are equipped with hard side-cases (Pan European, Gold Wing, etc.), leather side bags (Shadow, etc.) or soft side bags and/or roll bags (CBR 600, etc.) which varies from model to model per the manufacturer's originally outfitted model features. Aprilia, some Ducati and Triumph models are equipped with soft side bags and/or roll bags. Sport models are normally with soft side bags and/or roll bags, but some are equipped with hard side-cases (dealer variation). Cruisers are equipped with leather side-bags unless model is originally outfitted with hard side-cases (Road King, Electra Glide Standard, etc.). Most sport-tour models are outfitted with hard side-cases (Ducati ST 3, Honda VFR, Yamaha TDM 900, etc.).
Many models do not have windshields (dealer variation) unless originally installed by the manufacturer as a model standard feature. Cruiser models are normally equipped with sissy bars or a passenger back rest.
Some dealers offer a TomTom Rider and some BMW dealers offer a BMW Navigator III GPS unit rental (based upon the Garmin Streetpilot 2720) with European maps, English menu and instructions for US$ 15 per day. If available, the GPS unit rental is pre-wired and pre-installed on your bike. Rental also includes a 15 minute instruction on its use and numerous features upon arrival.
