Model upgrades with comfort, sport, top, sport-tour and super classes are available per the designated bike upgrade supplement prices listed at the specific tour overview or our rates & dates.

Upgrade motorcycles are with free use, unlimited mileage and third party liability, collision and comprehensive insurance safety deductible of € 1,500 for comfort class models; € 2,000 for sport and sport-tour class models; and € 2,500 for top and super class models.

If unfamiliar with models, check-off model type and your requested displacement size on your tour application. We match your model type wish with available models and designate a motorcycle for tour use and confirm this on your invoice.

The stayover optional daily rental rate is applicable and used only if you want to rent your designated tour model with unlimited mileage for a few days, a week or longer prior to and/or after your tour (subject to availability).

Whatever your riding style, substitute or upgrade a mount to suit particular riding needs and preferences. Smaller and more agile bikes are better suited to the roads in Europe, but it is your decision to ride your personal own model at home, a mount which you are familiar or a special model you have always dreamed about riding.

For every riding style and rider size, whether ladies or gentlemen, young or young at heart, we have the perfect mount for you to fully enjoy your tour.

We realize riders are different sizes and prefer different makes and models. As a guideline only, we recommend the following motorcycle size match between you and your mount as follows:

• 500-700cc class for solo riders
• 701-900cc class for solo riders or with passenger (combined weight < 300 lbs.)
• over 900cc class for solo riders or with passenger (combined weight > 300 lbs.)

If necessary stop at a neighborhood dealer and inspect the showroom bikes to see various models, measure seat heights, judge passenger comfort etc.

Please note:

• Listed models are offered for the 2008 riding season. Similar models will be offered for the year 2009 when the manufacturer model line is known.
• Motorcycles are current season models which are renewed every year. Model changes and availability will occur during the course of a season.
• BMW models are equipped with hard side-cases (or expandable sport side-cases). Honda models are equipped with hard side-cases (Pan European, Gold Wing, etc.), leather side bags (Shadow, etc.) or soft side bags and/or roll bags (CBR 600, etc.) which varies from model to model per the manufacturer's originally outfitted model features.

• Sport models are with soft side bags and/or roll bags. Cruiser models are equipped with leather side-bags unless model is originally outfitted with hard side-cases (Road King, Electra Glide Standard, etc.). Most sport-tour models are outfitted with hard side-cases (Ducati ST 3 S, Honda VFR 800, Yamaha TDM 900, etc.).
• Cruiser models are normally equipped with sissy bars or a passenger back rest.
• Models do not have windshields unless originally installed by the manufacturer as a standard model feature.

• Some dealers offer a TomTom Rider and some BMW dealers offer a BMW Navigator III GPS unit rental (based upon the Garmin Streetpilot 2720) with European maps, English menu and instructions for US$ 15 per riding day. If available, the GPS unit rental is pre-wired and pre-installed on your bike. Rental also includes a 15 minute instruction on its use and numerous features upon arrival.

• Allocation of motorcycles and special model wishes are made according to the order of tour deposits received by Bosenberg. Please list alternate model choices on your tour application. There are a limited number of motorcycles for each model and class. Your make and model is confirmed with your tour reservation invoice.

• Our tours can also be conducted as a private tour with your dates of choice for your club or group of 12 persons or more. Consider using our group and custom tour services for your special ride with friends and associates. • All models are also offered on our individual and group motorcycle rental program with Berlin, Frankfurt/Main and Munich, Germany; Milan, Italy; Bern and Zurich, Switzerland gateways.
